These last few days have been pretty hard healthwise. Both Jeff and I got the flu, and we could hardly function. I wanted to sleep all day, which of course I coudn’t do because I have 4 little ones to take care of. Thank goodness I got over it, and even though Jeff was feeling lousy for about a week, I was very happy he was home. Even if he won’t cook or do the laundry, he’s here, and that’s all that matters. We often fantasize about his leaving his jobs, and doing real estate from home…maybe one day. Joaquin was sick also, of course. Right when we started feeling under the weather, my friend Cinthia and her sister, came ove to do my and my mom’s hair. Joaqs got a haircut, and he looks so differently it took me a few days to get used to his hair. He was like a totally different child! I know! I have to post pictures, and I will…maybe tomorrow 😉
Yesterday we spent about two hours trying to book our tickets for Scotland. We had an outrageous amount of miles that we wanted to use, but since there are so many of us, 7 counting Adriana who will be our nanny, we couldn’t find anything! But we finally found what we needed, and we have everything, flights, hotel, tours, sorted out. I’M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! I can’t wait. But in a very weird way I don’t want July to come so soon, that way it won’t be over. This is THE last book, the last time will wait for a HP book release, and it’s such a bittersweet experience. i know this will sound so weird for some people, but HP has been my escape for about 6 years now, since I discovered it. I totally loved this series! And did I say I’m excited!
On another note, way to go Jazz! We’re playing against San Antonio, and even though I live Manu Ginobilli (my fellow Argentine), I have to go with the heart and cheer for my Jazz. We went to the last game with the Warriors and it was amazing. I felt I was in the Conmebol Final, cheering my soccer team Rosario Central against the Brazilians.
I’m very happy we have Adriana to babysit our kids. They love her, and she does such a good job. I love it because she does the dishes, plays with them and puts them to bed. When we get home everything is clean and everyone is asleep.
The weather has been wonderful, and we’re enjoying our yard a lot. It’s a paradise. We never go anywhere because we love being home. The only thing is if I’m home, I’m either cooking or cleaning…I’m almost done with ironing. What a chore! Well, I better go. It’s soccer registration day!
