O.K, friends, I’m going to post something completely random, but very important to me. As you can see from this post, I’ve entered NANOWRIMO (National Novel Writing Month), and even though my word count is very modest at the moment (a mere 250 words), I wanted to let you all know of this undertaking for very selfish reasons–to keep myself accountable. You see, the purpose if this competition is to write a 50,000 word novel (it’s really not that much) during the month of November. Some of you know I’ve been working on a story for several months now, but I’ve put that one on hold, and started a clean slate. This other story was already taking place in my mind, and I was going to start it after my first novel was finished. At the end of this month I hope to have 2 books to work on. That’s all. I’ve done it. Now I can’t just quit this because everyone knows I’m doing it. I think it’s a little crazy for me to embark on this adventure during this month, when we have three birthdays in our family, and Thanskgiving. But you know what? I’ve always done much better under stress. My best papers were always the ones I wrote at the last minute.
Please, ask me how I’m doing. This will keep me going.

Good luck on your novel!
We’ll check back to see how you’re doing.
I’m so impressed! Good luck. And yes, keep us updated … i’ll be very interested to see how things are going.
Wow, I am exited for you!! I want to hear all about it! And of course read it when you are ready or done.
me too me too! I want to hear and read all about it. Are you excited for the twilight movie? I’m not sure how I feel about it but I’m definitely going to have to see it. We should get everyone together and have a girls night cause I doubt Jeremy will want to go with me
